Our 2007 Chardonnay is light golden in colour with a soft bouquet of fruit flavours and an undertone of oak, it displays typical Hunter Valley characteristics of lifted tropical fruit flavours, this vintage again dominated by ripe melon and peach undertones, the structure has a rounded mouth feel with good balance and length. Our 2008 Chardonnay is yellow gold in colour, with a bouquet of spicy cinnamon and nutty oak from barrel fermentation. This is complemented by apple and fig characteristics, overall a complex but well balanced bouquet. The palate displays an array of different characteristics, biscuity barrel flavours combined with citrus green apple and well integrated cinnamon oak. This fine wine is medium bodied in style with long finishing flavours and well balanced acidity.

The Hunter just keeps producing excellent Verdelho, this variety thrives on the areas hot dry climate. Our 2007 Vineyard Range Verdelho exhibits classic citrus lemons and limes on the palate with musky varietal notes completing a rounded bouquet. The fruit sweetness is bold and forward balanced nicely by a typical flinty acid.

Our 2009 Verdelho is light yellow in colour with a lime green hue. The bouquet is full of sweet ripened tropical fruit highlighted by paw paw and pineapple. The palate is a typical Hunter style with plenty of forward fruit, a complex taste sensation of mango, pineapple and passion fruit. The finish is long lasting with a soft warm mouthfeel.

This Hunter Valley 2006 vintage has been aged 24 months on selected French Oak, ruby red in colour, the nose displays lifted flavours of black and red berry with subtle oak and peppermint undertones. The palate is classically medium bodied with the mid palate displaying ripe sweet fruit flavours wonderfully balanced by a soft oak complexity. Fine ripe tannins provide good structure and a long finish to this excellent wine.

Our 2007 Merlot is a wonderful deep red plum in colour. It displays an array of varied aromas highlighted by mint and berry fruits, bought together by a cedary oak and a touch of underlying aniseed. The palate delivers a wonderful combination of flavours, spice, mint, fruit and pepper with a finishing touch of light chocolate. The palate is supported by well balanced fine to medium tannins and oak, with an excellent overall finish.

This 2007 vintage is bright red in colour, the bouquet exhibits vibrant and fresh spicy black cherry characteristics. A touch of smokey vanilla oak adds further complexity with an underlying hint of aniseed. The palate is alive with fresh black pepper and spicy fruit flavours. Nice length, subtle oak and soft to medium tannins make for a great finish to this medium bodied wine.
